The newest season of High Stakes Poker has opened with new rules. Today the players have to to buy in for two hundred thousand dollars. Such big sum highlights the 5th season of the poker series that regularly characterizes the richest cash games in history of television.

During all previous seasons, the series started with players buying in for "just" 100 hundred of dollars. But the last season was coming to the end with the amount equal $500,000 per player.

An executive producer of High Stakes Poker, Henry Orenstein has said that the show had become a must-see on Game Show Network for poker gamblers and their fans throughout the whole world.

The Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas is the place for the cash game. It will be held there. The chief operating officer for the Golden Nugget, Brett Kellerman has said that they are excited to be joining GSN in filming their the 5th season of High Stakes Poker. He has also added that it is undoubtedly the best choice for the players, the poker fans and the Golden Nugget.

Production of the new season will happen on the 19th-21st of December. Today we don’t know the names of the players who will contend yet. Dut the representatives of the network are suggesting that the audience will accept them with delight.

Mori Eskandani, an executive producer of the show has said that she has been very thrilled with the mix of players who will take part in this season. She also has added that TV viewers was in for a thrill.
