Week #1: My Sit and Go tournaments strategy faultsOK. Let me show you some result. Start bankroll was $50. Game is Full Tilt Poker 1 Table SNG $2+$.25. I've played 6 tourneys with ROI equal 6.67%. ITM is 50%. But I've won no tournaments! Weekend bankroll is $50.90 That week was not a poker week. I've meet two very interesting young woman. And of course I had no much time for poker. That's why I've played only 6 sngs. But these tourneys show some faults in my sit and go strategy. First of all, I do not change my strategy in middle blinds. It doesn't hurt my stack too much. But I can increase my advantages if I will play different. Second problem is that I play bubble too passively. I fold hands that are good enough to push. I know how to improve this part of my game. I'll use bubble training software – SNGWiz and http://www.pregopoker.com/. And the last problem is the heads up poker. I play too passively. I think SAGE will help me. I've found perfect article with full description on this concept on PokerStrategy website (you have to register and earn silver level to get access to it). |

Focus On The End-Game
Looks like you are still getting into your rythum on sit and go's. One comment... sit and go's are all about survival until the end game, which is the bubble and the last three positions. So do not worry too much about making money in the early or middle rounds. The key is to stay out of trouble to you consistently make it to the bubble, even if that means you are the short stack at the table.
