Fox TV is known for reality shows and “PokerStars.net Million Dollar Challenge” is one of them. Usually episodes are more or less standard and go by scenario, but this Sunday’s show has been something unpredictable and totally surprising. A Catholic Priest who lives in Myrtle Beach, SC not only managed to beat poker pros but won huge money! Rev. Andrew Trapp gathers funds for St. Michael Catholic Church building and so this is the reason he has come to the show. Now the building fund is much bigger as Trapp has managed to win enormous $100,000! Hundreds of parishioners were in Myrtle Beach church watching the game of priest and waiting the result. First outcome had been a mystery, but later the size of win was aired on Fox. In order to win on Sunday’s show, Trapp, the 28-year-old clergyman, had to beat Daniel Negreanu, famous poker coach, in final round of Texas Hold’em. The game is not over for the lucky priest as he will return in December, when he and other three players who have managed to win $100,000 will fight against each other for the magnificent main prize of $1 million. |
