Sands when he went to Las Vegas from Greece had the odds not in his favor and nobody thought he'd be a success in the live tourney. He is a novice who began playing poker online only in March and got a seat in the World Series of Poker just a month later.

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has announced its schedule of events for the year 2008-2009 that are due to take place at different Harrah's owned casinos in the United States.

It has been announced that the world's first poker musical is expected to feature at the Main Event of this year's World Series of Poker (WSOP).
