Titan Poker Prodigy Wins 106,000 Euros and 2nd Prize at an Irish Winter Tournament

Chris Woods, who is 25 and who is from Hartlepool in northeast England, participated in an Irish Winter Festival tournament in Dublin as a representative of on-line poker room Titan Poker where he won the second place and a cash prize with value 106,000 Euro.

Chris Woods joined on-line poker tutorial lessons at PokerProfessor in August. He has never deposited money in his Titan Poker account. One day Chris received a $50 PokerProfessor quiz bonus and four days after he invested $27.50 into a winning performance at an Irish Winter Festival qualifier satellite. This very day Woods won an Irish Winter Festival Super Satellite competition and got a $4,500 prize package. Then Titan Poker sent him to Dublin to take part in the major tournament.

When an Irish Winter tournament has finished Chris said that he had eluded to play with the other big stacks untill he had felt he was drawing to the nuts or had the nuts. Woods added that he had used his big stack well against the smaller stacks when in position, brinning pressure to bear them for the rest of the competition.

The first place at Irish Winter Festival was taken by an Irish poker player Fiachra Meere. Chris, who showed an amazing second place finish, outlasted a great deal of poker “giants” including Andy Black, Ciaran O'Leary and Marty Smyth.

There were fifteen Titan Poker players who had participated at the prestige Irish poker tournament, including Chris. Titan Poker periodically rewards its players with huge cash prizes and chooses them to major land-based poker events, for instance, the Aussie Millions and the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. It awards prizes over $16 million each month and will organize the third European Championship of On-line Poker (ECOOP) for 14 days this November, with $4.15 in guaranteed prize money over fourteen days of on-line poker competitions.
